This year's Architectural Fun Ride is a 1/4" scale, 4-story structure made up of interlocking segments designed by different students.
Like pieces of a Tetris puzzle, all the pieces have the same size but different shapes. A continuous path runs along the entire structure.
Each student is responsible for his/ her segment and the goal is to keep visitors engaged as they walk across.
All segments must incorporate some form of non-mechanical vertical circulation going up at least one level. This exercise is done in preparation for the main project of the semester where vertical circulation is critical.
